Why CoralCubs

A small idea, taken seriously.

CoralCubs was born from a personal need and a mother's instinct to protect. When I learned how crucial neon-coloured swimwear is for spotting children in water, I was surprised to find so few options available — especially in Europe, and especially for babies like my one-year-old son.

What struck me even more were the numbers. Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury death for children aged 1–4. Despite this, swimwear designed to aid visibility is rarely available in baby sizes, or made to meet European quality standards.

CoralCubs was created to help change that. True neon, applied across most of the garment — paired with UPF 50+, OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, and the calm Scandinavian shapes our children would actually wear. Not a replacement for attentive parenting. A quiet tool that supports it.

A note on colour

True neon is hard for screens to render. RGB displays approximate it; CMYK printing rarely captures it at all. What you see here is a digital stand-in. Final garments are matched to physical Pantone neon references — chosen for visibility in real water, not on a phone.

One question

When you buy swimwear for your child, what matters most?

The founder
I wanted swimwear that does its job loudly, and disappears into the family album quietly. That gap is where CoralCubs lives.
